“Patti Habeck has been a tireless champion of our mission to solve hunger since joining the organization in 2011,” said William Bohn, board chairman of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. “She has been instrumental in developing Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin into the leading hunger relief organization in the state. Her passion for ensuring everyone in eastern Wisconsin has access to fresh, healthy and nutritious food is truly inspiring.”
Habeck left the Community Foundation in 2011 to become northeast Wisconsin regional manager for Feeding America. She was promoted to executive vice president in March 2015.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this exceptional organization and to build on the solid foundation laid over the past 35 years,” Habeck said. “We have an incredible network of more than 600 member organizations whose staff and volunteers who work hard every day on the front lines of hunger relief to help those facing hunger. Our volunteers, donors and staff are among the most passionate and dedicated people I’ve had the pleasure to work with. I look forward to continuing to build on our momentum. I know that by working together, we can solve hunger in eastern Wisconsin.”
