Last Day at Marsha’s House

Posted on Sep 22, 2015, by

September 19, 2015, was the big, and final “project day” at many homes during Habitat’s Rock the Block blitz, including Marsha Jenks’ house. The volunteers, including our President/CEO, Curt Detjen, had a great time working side-by-side with Marsha. Here are photos from the day. Watch for Marsha’s final journal entry tomorrow!

Homeowner Marsha Jenks shared her journal entries here on our blog as her house, garage and yard were rehabbed during the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity’s first-ever Rock the Block blitz Sept. 14-19 in an Appleton neighborhood. The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region helped RTB get started with a $300,000 Community Leadership Initiative grant.
