Hi! My name is Maria Clark, and I am happy to announce that I have joined the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region as their Operations Coordinator. My role is to support administrative operations by managing the front desk and supporting the database team in various tasks to help build data integrity efforts. I am so excited to be a part of an organization that holds space and centers its people and community.

I graduated from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. My education has led me down a path of working with nonprofits, shaping my drive to support mission-driven organizations that center their values on creating opportunities for and providing support to those who are underserved.

Prior to joining the Community Foundation, I worked at the Oregon-based nonprofit Forth as the Systems Manager, supporting and maintaining the organization’s various internal tools, administration, and its database.

When I’m not at work, I try to learn and create new baking and cooking recipes. My husband, Kyle, and I currently have our hands full with our just-turned-2-year-old black lab rescue, Reese, and are trying to give him as much playtime as we can.

I am looking forward to learning more about the Community Foundation and the surrounding community itself. I am even more excited to build new connections, relationships, and to support the great work the Foundation and its staff are doing.
