Ways to Support Texas Flood Relief Efforts
Disaster relief efforts are underway to help those affected by the catastrophic flash flooding on July 4 in Texas Hill Country that has killed more than 130 people, with many people still missing.
Community foundations in Texas are rallying to support the ongoing rescue and recovery efforts of these devastating flash floods. If you would like to support their efforts, please consider making a donation to one of the following trusted organizations:
Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country –
The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund will direct funds to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance.
San Angelo Area Foundation – San Angelo Disaster Relief Fund
The San Angelo Disaster Relief Fund will provide financial support to flood victims in San Angelo and surrounding areas.
World Central Kitchen – Texas Flood Relief
World Central Kitchen has mobilized to deliver meals to families and first responders across the region.
At this time the American Red Cross shared in a press release that they have the resources needed to respond and are not accepting financial or in-kind donations designated for this disaster. However, if you or someone you know has been impacted by the floods, the Red Cross does have casework teams available by phone at 1-800-733-2767 or via an online form at Texas Hill Country Floods Reunification.
