Clintonville Area Foundation helps community thrive

Clintonville Middle School Students learn about fossils thanks to a grant from the Natural World For Kids Fund.

I strongly believe in this community and the work of the Clintonville Area Foundation to support this town.

I am simply amazed at the generosity of our neighbors and friends in Clintonville. This is a great place to live, work and play; however, new challenges always arise. How we respond says a lot about the people who live here and what they value.

The rising cost of groceries is an example of an unexpected or unplanned financial burden. Who would have thought earlier in 2022 a dozen eggs would be over $5 a dozen? Now imagine trying to provide a balanced meal for your growing family on a limited budget.

One of our 2023 recipients was the Clintonville Area Food Pantry. They received a $3,000 grant to provide fresh fruit to those in need, helping to ensure balanced nutrition.

Clintonville’s Compassionate Connections Center volunteers prepare to distribute food.

How can you get involved to help during this challenging economy? Bring your extra garden produce to the food pantry. Volunteer your time. Or plan for your own legacy by creating a fund within our community foundation or name the Clintonville Area Foundation as a beneficiary in your will.

Check out our 2022 Annual Report for more stories and examples of our community’s generosity:

Let’s make Clintonville a better place to live, work and play.
