Hello! My name is Barb Jensen. I joined the Community Foundation in December 2021 as the organization’s Executive Assistant.

I’ve been fortunate to have served in this same role for a number of organizations in the Fox Valley with experience in the healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, and nonprofit business sectors. I’ve worked for and with many great leaders who have provided opportunities for me to grow both personally and professionally.

The opportunity to join the Community Foundation is the culmination of a 30+ year career, working for an organization that aligns with my personal values and allowing me to give back to a community that has given me so much. The generosity of the people who live and work in this community is truly inspiring. And here at the Community Foundation, we are in a unique position to assist others execute on their wishes to make a difference in the lives of people many of us will never know.

Outside of work, you will find me spending time outdoors with my family, biking, hiking, kayaking and readying a property my husband and I purchased for our future retirement home in Waupaca. Dan and I have been blessed with two sons, with one currently planning a fall wedding. And we hope to be adding a new puppy to the family in early summer!

I am excited to be at the Community Foundation and look forward to working with so many in carrying out its mission and vision.
