The Basic Needs Giving Partnership announced grants of nearly $1.8 million to more than 80 nonprofit organizations in northeast Wisconsin during a news conference today. The grants from the Partnership, which is a collaboration between the U.S. Venture Open Fund for Basic Needs, the J. J. Keller Foundation and community foundations in the Fox Valley, Oshkosh and Green Bay, are directed to nonprofits that address the root causes of poverty.

Basic Needs and Self-Sufficiency is a focus of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region’s grantmaking, and it’s a growing need in our community.   News release
