How To Apply

Edward J. Casper Family Scholarship within the Chilton Area Community Foundation

Amount of Award: $1,000

Criteria: Graduating senior of Chilton High School, Brillion High School, Hilbert High School, New Holstein High School or Stockbridge High School. The senior class of Brillion, New Holstein, Hilbert and Stockbridge High Schools will select the recipient, from their class, that best meets the criteria. The recipient from Chilton High School will be selected by the Edward J. Casper Scholarship trustees from the finalists for the Paula Lutz Scholarship, excluding the individual who receives such scholarship.

Faith Technologies Inc. Memorial Scholarship

Amount of Award: $500

Criteria: Graduating senior who is a dependent child or step-child of an employee at Faith Technologies, Inc., who has been employed for at least one year as of Dec. 31.

Due Date: April 1

International Association of Structural Movers Scholarship (IASM)

Amount of Award: $1,500

Criteria: Applicants must be children of IASM member companies or children of member company employees.

Due Date: February 25

Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company Scholarship

Amount of Award: $2,000

Criteria: Dependent children and step-children of non-executive associates employed at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company for at least one year as of April 1.

Due Date: March 15

Linda L. Schneider Scholarship within the Chilton Area Community Foundation

Amount of Award: $500

Criteria: Graduating seniors from a Calumet County High School (Brillion, Chilton, Hilbert, Kiel, New Holstein, and Stockbridge) who are high-achieving, detail oriented students, and plan to attend a four-year college or university, majoring in a field of study focused on wildlife ecology and conservation; or related environmental sciences.

Due Date: March 1

Will be available in 2020

Margaret Ferris Scholarship for Hard of Hearing Students

Amount of Award: $2,000

Criteria: Graduating senior from a public or parochial high school in Calumet, Outagamie or Winnebago counties who has a significant hearing loss and uses technology to hear.

Mary A. Garrow Teaching Scholarship

Amount of Award: $500 per year for four years (total award $2,000) - scholarship will be awarded every 4 years

Criteria: Graduating senior at Brillion High School who plans to pursue a degree in education with the intention of becoming a teacher, and demonstrates financial need.

Scholarship will be awarded again in 2020

Mary Endries Memorial Scholarship within the Brillion Area Family of Funds

Amount of Award: Award amount may vary. Each year a maximum of $5,000 will be awarded. There may be one or more students selected. This is a renewable award with a minimum of $500 per year per student and a maximum of $5,000 for an individual lifetime award. The $5,000 award will be divided between all recipients and then divided by the number of years (2 or 4) they will be attending post-secondary school.

Criteria: Graduating seniors from Brillion High School who are planning to pursue post-secondary education at a two- or four-year school and have overcome challenges in their life and in doing so exemplified traits of Mary Endries, in whose loving memory this scholarship fund was established. Financial consideration will be secondary.

There is no application process. Selection will be made by the Brillion High School Scholarship Selection Committee.

Merizon Family Scholarship for Modern Business Machines

Amount of Award: $2,000

Criteria: Dependent children, step-children, and grandchildren, whether by birth or adoption, of Modern Business Machines employees in good standing, who have a minimum of one year’s service on or before April 1.

Due Date: April 30
