New Grant Portal Update

Latest News: New Grant Portal Is Open!

As you may know, we’ve been updating our information technology platform, including our databases and grant, scholarship and fund advisor web portals. We’re excited to share that as of today, the last piece of the upgrade is complete – with the launch of a new Grant Portal!

Before you jump ahead to sign up for the new Grant Portal, please take time to review the important details of this message.
(In case you missed our previous communications, you can get caught up here on our website.)

Beginning March 2 – The following grant opportunities are now accepting applications in the new Grant Portal. It is still important to review the grant guidelines for each of these opportunities prior to applying.

  • Appleton Education Foundation
  • Community Vision Fund
  • Fox Cares Foundation
  • Jewelers Mutual
  • Robert & Patricia Endries Family Foundation
  • SECURA Insurance Companies Charitable Fund
  • Sikora Family Memorial Fund
  • Water-Right Charitable Fund

Other grant opportunities will open in the new Grant Portal in the future based on their grant cycle deadlines.

Please note – The Prospera Foundation grant cycle is already underway in our old Grant Portal with an application deadline of March 31 . Therefore, the application will remain open in the old Grant Portal until March 31. The new Grant Portal will be used for the following Prospera Foundation application deadline of June 30.

Progress and Final Reports

As we shared in our December 2022 technology update, we are no longer accepting progress or final reports in the old Grant Portal. Any outstanding progress or final reports were granted a deadline extension so they can be submitted in the new Grant Portal. If you had an outstanding report for a grant your organization previously received, you should have received an email on February 28 from [email protected] informing you that an account was created for you and you should not complete an additional registration, rather you should follow the instructions in that email to reset your password.

Next Steps

  1. Start from our Grant Portal landing page to review the Grant Portal guide, tutorials, new features, FAQs and register for the portal.
  1. Unless you are applying to The Prospera Foundation (Mar. 31 deadline noted above), or you want to download copies of previously submitted grants or reports, you can stop using the old Grant Portal. (Note: you have until May 31 to save any information you want from the old Grant Portal.) The Community Foundation will not be transferring copies of applications or reports your organization submitted in the old Grant Portal to the new Grant Portal (unless your grant is still active and you have outstanding progress or final reports.)
  1. If you plan on applying for grants in the portal, please add the [email protected] email to your safe sender list as system notifications, such as application submission confirmations and report reminders, will come from this email.

If you have any questions, please contact the staff member who’s connected to the specific grant program you are interested in.

We are excited to launch this new tool to better support our nonprofit partners and we hope you will appreciate its new features. The work you do is critical to the communities we serve – thank you!
