Chilton Area Benefits from over $80,000 in Grants

The Chilton Area Community Foundation recently awarded $80,010 in grants from its Chilton Area Community Foundation Fund to 15 nonprofit organizations to improve the quality of life in the greater Chilton area. 

The purpose of the Chilton Area Community Foundation Fund is to meet ongoing community needs and improve the quality of life for residents of the Chilton Area School District. Grants are awarded annually in spring through an application and evaluation process involving Chilton volunteers and Fox Valley region community foundation staff. 

2025 Grant recipients include: 

  • Ascension Wisconsin Foundation: $5,000 to support a new mobile sexual assault treatment center in Calumet County. 
  • Calumet County Ag Stewardship Alliance: $700 to support local farmer forums with the intent to create a space for discussion of innovative farming practices and conservation techniques. 
  • Chilton Public Library: $5,310 to support multi-generational programming, learning, and engagement. 
  • Chilton Wrestling Club: $5,000 to support the addition of a new wrestling room in Chilton. 
  • Community Clothes Closet: $5,000 to support the traveling closet in Chilton, providing functional clothing to clients of all ages. 
  • Ebb & Flow Connections Cooperative: $8,000 to support the Community Living Room pilot in Chilton.  
  • Fox Valley Memory Project: $8,000 to support dementia support and education programs in Chilton/the Chilton area.  
  • Fox Valley Technical College Foundation: $7,000 to expand access to English Language Learning services and classes. 
  • Hilbert Fire Department: $6,000 to purchase new boots for firefighters.  
  • Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership: $5,000 for the Stony Brook Restoration and community involvement initiative.

  • LEAVEN, Inc.: $5,000 to support the Basic Needs Emergency Financial Assistance Program for Chilton-area residents. 
  • Multicultural Coalition, Inc: $5,000 to support programming in Chilton. 
  • New Hope Center, Inc: $5,000 to support the 2025 InnerAct Summer Camp.  
  • Samaritan: $5,000 to support mental health screening for Chilton Public School students for the 2025-2026 school year.  
  • The Salvation Army of Calumet County: $5,000 to support the purchase of food to be distributed through the Salvation Army Bread of Life Center in Chilton.
