We Welcome Cindy Hoffman To The Team!

Hello! My name is Cindy Hoffman, and I am very excited to be a part of the Community Foundation team as the Donor Services & Finance Coordinator. In my new role, I will support grantmaking cycles from various funds, support critical finance functions, and work with each department to streamline processes.

My career has given me an opportunity to try many different things and I am truly grateful for each one of them. Throughout the years, I’ve had an opportunity to be a children’s ministry director, run volunteer coordination for multiple AmeriCorps programs (Reading Partners and Habitat for Humanity), and drive process improvement as part of the finance department with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.

My life’s goal has always been to leave my community, and our world, better than I found it for those who come after me. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown a light on the needs, social injustices, and inequities our communities face. To that end, I’ve been a vocal leader of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work to amplify under-represented communities and voices to help provide equitable access to necessary resources.

My other passion in life is spending time with my family and friends. My husband, Eric, and I moved to Appleton in August after 6 years in Milwaukee. The two coolest people I know are our 4-year-old son, Elliot and 2-year-old daughter, Maeve. Exploring new playgrounds and bike trails in our new community has been a highlight since moving to Appleton. We always welcome new recommendations!

It is a professional pleasure to be a part of the Community Foundation team. I look forward to connecting with you to learn how we together can make a meaningful and sustainable positive impact in our community.
