Nadine Behm Boltz Memorial Scholarship

Criteria and Award Amount: Click here
Qualifications: Female high school graduate of Kewaunee High School; Has completed 1 year or more at an accredited college or university as a full-time student; Maintained a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA; Financial need will be considered (Is not receiving other grants or scholarships); Demonstrates being serious about her education.

Proverbs 23:26 Scholarship

Qualifications: Graduates of Martin Luther College (or any other college of ministry operated by WELS); Pursuing theological training through Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in preparation to enter the pastoral ministry of WELS as a full-time student; Priority will be given to recipients of the Ephesians 4:11-13 Scholarship.

Rev. Dr. Neil T. Eckstein Scholarship for Grace Lutheran Church

Qualifications: Graduating high school senior or a continuing college or seminary student who is an active member (attends church, communes, participates, supports) at Grace Lutheran Church in Larsen (Winchester), WI; Attends or is planning to attend an accredited, not-for-profit, private, or public 4-year college or university as an undergraduate student, or an ELCA seminary in preparation for the Lutheran ministry as a full-time student; Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale; Students who will be attending a Lutheran college or university or attending an ELCA seminary are especially encouraged to apply.

Richard Newcomb and Janice Schreiber-Newcomb Scholarship (within the Shawano Area Community Foundation)

Qualifications: Widows/widowers who are too young to receive Social Security assistance; Planning to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school as a part-time or full-time student; Receiving Social Security benefits for dependent children shall not disqualify an applicant; Preference may be given to applicants from the Shawano area.

SECURA Insurance Scholarship

Qualifications: When applying for the scholarship, the student needs to be enrolled in the Insurance and Financial Planning Minor program offered at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh; Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA; Demonstrated leadership skills in student organizations or extracurricular activities, core values in alignment with those emphasized in SECURA’s core principles; Preference may be given to students whose primary residency is in one of the following WI counties: Brown, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara, or Winnebago; Previous recipients may re-apply each year they are eligible.

Qualifications: Sophomore or junior male college students entering their junior or senior year at St. Norbert College as a full-time student; Graduated from a high school in the Fox Cities (Appleton, Hortonville, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Little Chute, Menasha, Neenah); Pursuing a degree (major or minor) in Theology & Religious Studies or in Peace & Justice; Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA for the first 2 years of college; Demonstrated learning outside the classroom, such as participation in activities, career development, and/or involvement in community service/service to others; Demonstrated “life well-lived,” centered on Norbertine and Roman Catholic values, and continually doing good work by inspiring and improving the lives of others; Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond; Students may apply each year they are eligible.

Qualifications: Non-traditional students (age 25 or older) attending Fox Valley Technical College as a part-time or full-time student; Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA; Experienced work history; Preference will be given to students exhibiting the following: Minimum of five years of work history or military service; Pursuing majors or coursework within the Computer and Information Sciences, or Business; Plan to work while attending school; Financial need will be considered.
