Hello! My name is Amanda Barth, and I have officially joined Nonprofit Leadership Initiative (NPLI) as their administrative associate. I earned my Administrative Associate degree from Fox Valley Technical College.
Before graduating, I was fortunate enough to intern for NPLI, where I stayed for about 1.5 years, and now I am back!
NPLI has offered me different outlooks on life in our community as I’ve learned about the work nonprofits do. The five values of the Community Foundation and NPLI )Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Creativity) are ones that I uphold in my personal life as well.
Keeping these values in mind comes in handy as I work with a diverse group of individuals as a board member for the Butte des Morts Elementary PTO. This is my first year serving and I’ve been enjoying learning new things with the rest of the board.
When not working, I chase around three girls (ages 7, 9, and 12), two dogs, two cats, four ferrets, and of course, my husband, Corey. He is the biggest supporter in my life, and I couldn’t imagine my life without him.
I moved to the Fox Valley area in 2008, prior to that I lived in Birchwood, Wis., which has just over 500 people, so the Fox Valley is huge to me!
I look forward to a long partnership with NPLI at the Community Foundation!
