The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region is closely monitoring the local impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. While this situation is quickly developing, there is still much we do not know. At the Foundation, we are focusing on how we can best prepare and support our staff and our community.

Our Disaster Preparedness and Recovery Plan has been activated:

We will remain operational throughout this ever-changing crisis, and I can assure our donors and nonprofit partners that our ability to receive donor gifts and our ability to issue grants will continue.

We remain in close collaboration with our regional funding partners, our statewide network of community leaders and nonprofit partners, plus our national community foundation colleagues, to ensure that we’re ready to assist once the direct impacts of COVID-19 become clearer. We will continue to monitor developments daily and will provide updates when timely. It’s important to keep supporting nonprofit organizations financially, especially those providing support to our most vulnerable people in our communities.

Our Office and Staff

The health and safety of our employees and all our visitors is of great importance to the Foundation. We are following the guidance of the Center for Disease Control and Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and are taking proactive steps to implement additional health safety measures in our office to do our part to keep everyone healthy. If we close our office, we will let our stakeholders know and will make every effort to continue programs and services even if only virtually.

Upcoming Foundation Events

The Foundation hosts many events throughout the year, and we are currently discussing individual contingency plans for each event that is coming up in the next few months. When any changes are made, registrants and stakeholders will be informed in a timely fashion.

We hope that everyone in our community and our nation remains safe and healthy as we work together to address this crisis.
