The Community Foundation welcomes Mary Leupold

Rocky Leupold, letting Mary hang out with him.

                                                                                                                By Mary Leupold
Hello! I am honored to introduce myself as the administrative associate for donor services & gift planning for the Community Foundation! My life’s mantra is to serve others and play a part in growing the community in which I live (and beyond) as a compassionate and serving area with opportunities of a high quality of life for all.

Since my husband Mark and I moved to Appleton in 2012, I have grown to love the Fox Cities and all that the area has to offer and am honored to be able to play a role in the fabric of what makes this community great!

In July 2017, Mark and I purchased a franchise, Express Employment Professionals, which is a staff recruitment and placement organization that helps job seekers find work and businesses find qualified employees. Mark has over nine years’ experience in the staffing industry and runs the business while I provide support on the sidelines as a sounding board/emotional support/and anything else needed (such as cleaning the office – it’s gotta get cleaned somehow! *insert chuckle here*).

Prior to joining the Community Foundation, I spent nearly seven years as the development and grant associate for the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.

I spend my free time with family or friends, volunteering, reading, attending all kinds of performances at the Fox Cities P.A.C., playing strategic board games or binge watching The Office and Parks and Recreation with Mark. We love to travel, hike and take our beloved dog and fur baby, Rocky, on walks. Mark and I also have four nieces and two nephews who we love spending time with as well.

It brings me great joy to support organizational missions through development work, especially while building relationships and joining community member’s charitable giving to their passions and interests – helping us all to make an impact in our communities.

I look forward to connecting with you all!

Welcome, Mary. I looked through all your photos to get a “feel” for you as a person. You seem like a great fit for the Community Foundation, and I wish you and Mark much success in your business as well. Someone from your office as already spent time in our Job Center doing recruitment. We love to see that!
