HR training offered to nonprofit executive directors
Area nonprofit executive directors can sharpen their human resources skills at an afternoon session Thursday, Feb. 16, at Fox Valley Technical College’s Bordini Center, 5 N. Systems Drive.
The Nonprofit Leadership Initiative will present the training from 3:30-5:30 p.m. The session is only open to executive directors of nonprofits. Space is still available and walk-ins are welcome.
Topics will include:
- Staff needs analysis and using volunteers versus staff.
- Performance improvement plans for small to medium nonprofits.
- Incentive programs for rewarding and keeping staff in small nonprofits that provide limited or no benefits.
The Community Foundation is one of the sponsors of the Nonprofit Leadership Initiative, a partnership of Fox Valley-area nonprofits, funders, educational institutions and businesses dedicated to providing resources needed by effective nonprofit boards and executive leaders.
