Enhancing the quality of life for the people of the greater Chilton area.
Grants from the Chilton Area Community Foundation's Community Fund come from fundraising activities -- including an annual golf tournament -- and unrestricted funds that donors established intending that the boards of the CACF and the Community Foundation determine the best ways to use the grant money to meet ongoing community needs. The grants are intended to improve the quality of life for residents of the Chilton Area School District.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Chilton Area Community Foundation has temporarily amended the annual competitive grant cycle guidelines to more aptly respond to the crisis.
The Foundation will continue to accept requests with greater flexibility as to the type of support provided. Applicants may request support for projects or programs benefiting residents of the Chilton area as they have in years past, or, they may request assistance to respond specifically to the Covid-19 crisis including sustaining critical mission-based work that has been financially impacted by the crisis.
Range of Grantmaking: up to $5,000.
Deadline: Jan. 31 at 4 p.m. In the event January 31 falls on a weekend, the deadline will be the following Monday at 4 p.m. Grant decisions are announced at the beginning of April.
