Supporting programs for youth and the elderly and promoting education, the arts and health care for all, as part of the legacy of Neenah architect and philanthropist Frank C. Shattuck.

Families of Funds

Created by a large gift from the estate of Neenah architect Frank C. Shattuck, the permanent endowment fund supports new services or supplements existing ones for youth and the elderly, while promoting education, the arts and health care for all.

What We Fund

Preference is given to requests that involve critical services, are likely to make a difference, meet current community needs and are presented by organizations that are well financed, sustainable and supported by an existing constituency, particularly concerning:

  • Services for youth and the elderly.
  • Education, arts and health care to benefit all.
  • Projects and organizations serving Outagamie County and the Neenah-Menasha area.
  • Capital Campaign, typically meaning bricks and mortar.
  • Operating expenses for qualifying organizations.

Range of grantmaking: Unspecified
Unsolicited requests not accepted by the committee. Potential applicants must contact the staff representative.

What We Don't Fund

  • Religious or political purposes.
  • Travel expenses for individuals or groups such as bands, sports teams and classes.
