Our Story

From the very beginning of their marriage, John and Ann Gillen gave to others by donating their time and energy to various nonprofit organizations.

During ownership of Tel Mark Sales, John and Ann provided financial assistance to those in need within the company and community. After they sold Tel Mark Sales, as a way to continue their generosity, they established the Gillen Family Foundation to further their philanthropic endeavors.

Together, John and Ann have generously given to the communities in which they have lived. Driven by their passion to do good for others and the community, the Gillen Family Foundation has been supporting various charitable causes in the Fox Valley and nationally for decades. Today, John and Ann are guiding their six adult children into the Gillen Family Foundations’ philanthropic work.

Purpose

The Gillen Family Fund, a division of the Gillen Family Foundation provides support to nonprofit agencies serving the Fox Valley Region which are helping those in need become self-sufficient.

Preference is given to requests that involve critical services, are likely to make a difference in the lives of individuals, meet current community needs and are effectively managed, sustainable, and supported by an existing constituency.

Guided by our Christian values, we are committed to helping those in need become self-sufficient.
