Grant Workshop – Money Matters: Project Budget
4455 W Lawrence St
Appleton, WI 54914
A strong grant request is one that is well-prepared, thoughtfully planned and concisely packaged. We offer monthly workshops focused on grant-writing skills that will be useful when applying for grants from the Community Foundation’s Bright Idea Fund or donor-directed funds with application processes.
We all know the basic elements of a budget (revenue, expenses, etc.) but how does one build a budget that gives the reader complete confidence in your organization and your project? The “Money Matters: Project Budget” workshop will help you learn how to craft a bulletproof budget whether for your Lightbulb Letter or for other grant applications. Come with a specific idea or project in mind. More details will be announced closer to the workshop date.
We strongly suggest that you attend a “Navigating Your Community Foundation” session prior to attending a workshop. The last 2017 “Navigating” session is Oct. 3. Dates in 2018 to be determined.
