A strong grant request is one that is well-prepared, thoughtfully planned and concisely packaged. We offer workshops focused on grant-seeking skills that will be useful when applying for grants from the Community Foundation’s Bright Idea Fund or donor-directed funds with application processes.
Please register in advance for all information sessions and workshops.
We strongly suggest that you attend a “Navigating Your Community Foundation & Charting a Course for Grantseeking” session prior to attending a workshop.
Come learn more about the Community Foundation’s exciting new approach to our Foundation-directed grantmaking. We’ll discuss our updated focus areas of Arts & Culture, Environmental Sustainability, Nonprofit Effectiveness, Community Development and Basic Needs and Self-Sufficiency and explain the application process. We’re looking forward to working with you to develop and support your bright ideas.
Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1-2:30 p.m. – How to Explain your Bright Idea in 5 Minutes or Less
Additional dates and topics to be determined. All workshops are held at the Community Foundation office.
