A strong grant request is one that is well-prepared, thoughtfully planned and concisely packaged. We offer workshops focused on grant-seeking skills that will be useful when applying for grants from the Community Foundation’s Bright Idea Fund or donor-directed funds with application processes.
Please register in advance for all information sessions and workshops.
We strongly suggest that you attend a “Navigating Your Community Foundation & Charting a Course for Grantseeking” session prior to attending a workshop. Please register for one of the following session dates:

How to tell your story in 5-minutes or less – A strong grant request is one that is well-prepared, thoughtfully planned and concisely packaged. The “Tell Your Story in 5 Minutes or Less” workshop will teach you how to use basic principles of storytelling to make a concise and compelling case for support. Future workshop dates will be posted here when they are scheduled.
