Apply now: Nonprofit Leadership Initiative’s 2020-21 Leadership Institute

The Nonprofit Leadership Initiative is kicking off its 5th cohort for the Leadership Institute which will run from May 2020 to April 2021. The deadline to apply is January 17.

In collaboration with Fox Valley Technical College, the Leadership Institute is a year-long series of seminars led by experts in their particular competencies and enhanced with peer-facilitated discussion group for new executive directors or those in the pipeline. The program blends online and in-person learning and focuses on leadership and skill-development topics.

Since the institute began in 2016, 39 people from throughout the Fox Valley have graduated from the program. The 5-minute video below highlights testimonials from two recent graduates. We encourage you to watch the video, review the coursework, and reach out to our alum and participants to hear how the program has impacted their leadership with our local nonprofits.

“I struggled in the beginning in my new ED role as I had no idea of how lonely and at times isolating this position could be. The modules were packed with useful information and went a long way in building my toolkit and ensuring we are on the right track,” says Diane MacDonald, former executive director for Community Clothes Closet and 2017-18 NPLI Leadership Institute Graduate.

Only 12 spots available for this training. The cost to nonprofits is $1,500 for this masters degree level program in nonprofit leadership. All training is held at the Fox Valley Technical College.
