How you can help Hurricane Dorian victims

If you’re interested in a trustworthy way to help the victims from Hurricane Dorian, community foundations throughout the southeast have activated disaster relief funds to help those in the Bahamas and the eastern United States affected by the storm.

Hurricane Dorian made landfall in the Bahamas on Sunday, September 1 and is the strongest storm to ever make landfall in the Atlantic. Although it has decreased in strength as it made its way toward the U.S. Atlantic Coast, it still brought destructive rain and wind to several states including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Community foundations in the region have a long history of raising money and providing support in the wake of hurricanes and tropical storms. Here are the foundations you can check out to make sure your donations are directed to where you’d like them to go:
