We’re by no means going to challenge any major metropolitan newspapers anytime soon, but subscriptions to The Loop have been growing steadily since we added it to our website in May of 2016. We reached a milestone recently when Julie Swiecichowski became subscriber number 500.

Julie is the administrative assistant at the Neenah-Menasha YMCA. She said she has found the stories in The Loop to be interesting and a tool to help her do her job.

“I support our management team,” she said. “From time to time, as directors consider new programming or we look to fund our annual campaign, I will be asked to help research local grant opportunities.”

She attended a Grantseeker Workshop at the Community Foundation. “The Loop articles provide one more opportunity for me to keep up to date on the great things happening within the Community Foundation and then share those ideas/posts with others at the Y,” she said.

In The Loop, she finds stories about events or programs sponsored by the Community Foundation and grants we award that are making a difference in the community. She saw a recent post on the upcoming Celebrating Volunteers Gala coming up on April 26 and added it to her calendar.

What does Julie get for being #500? Appearing in this post is pretty much it.

You can suggest The Loop as a source of information for colleagues, friends and family and help us achieve the next milestone. Just click on the “Invite a friend to get in The Loop” link. That will generate an email to them offering the opportunity to subscribe. If you aren’t a subscriber yourself, you can become one with the Sign up to get in The Loop link that appears at the bottom of every post. You can choose to receive posts as they are posted or in a weekly of monthly summary and choose to receive notices of the posts by email or text message.
