Posted on Sep 13, 2017, by

Are you ethical in the way you do business?

You can get an indication by taking this quiz or learn much more by attending the annual Fox Valley Ethics in Business Summit 7:30-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Liberty Hall, 800 Eisenhower Drive, Kimberly.

The event is presented by Samaritan Counseling Center of the Fox Valley. The Community Foundation is one of the sponsors, awarding a Bright Idea Fund grant within the nonprofit effectiveness focus area and community training and education priority.

Bruce Weinstein, CEO of the Institute for High-Character Leadership, is the keynote speaker. Weinstein speaks to businesses, trade associations and universities around the world. He writes about ethics, character and leadership for Fortune and Forbes and is a Trust Across America 2017 Top Thought Leader in Trust.  His books include The Good Ones: Ten Crucial Qualities of High-Character Employees, Ethical Intelligence: Five Principles for Untangling Your Toughest Problems at Work and Beyond, and for teens, Is It Still Cheating If I Don’t Get Caught?

“We inspire organizations to do the right thing, every time,” says Bruce.  “Being ethical is cool, and it benefits everyone.”

Individual tickets are $50. The instruction is targeted for people who work at corporations, nonprofits, small businesses and educational institutions. Register here.

The Fox Valley Ethics in Business Summit fosters a culture of integrity at work and in our community. Participants will demonstrate their commitment to ethical best practices. They also will explore with fellow leaders how to set the ethical tone from the top.
