Our Story

Established in 2013, the Brillion Area Family of Funds’ (BAFF) mission is to preserve, strengthen and improve quality of life in the Brillion Area

We became a geographic affiliate of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region in 2013. As an affiliate, we benefit from their professional services and staff, allowing more time for our volunteer Affiliate Board Members to focus on raising funds and determining the best way to grant dollars back to our community.

The Brillion Area Family of Funds’ charitable funds generate grants that are awarded to nonprofit organizations that are either recommended by the donor(s) who created the fund, or that are selected through an application process.

We reached our goal!

Whether you were born and raised in the Brillion area or it is your adopted community, you no doubt appreciate the quality of life we enjoy here.

The privilege of living in a community like ours instills in us a desire to pay something back for what we’ve been given. One of the important and necessary funds that we are growing is the Brillion Area Family of Funds Endowment Fund. It provides a permanent source of dollars for charitable organizations working to improve the lives of everyone in our area.

Bob and Pat Endries want to leave a legacy by helping shape the future of Brillion today! They are matching dollar-for-dollar up to $500,000 for all donations in any amount to the Brillion Area Family of Funds Endowment Fund, the Fund that will support the work in Brillion forever.

If we can raise $500,000, secure the match of $500,000, we will be ensuring $45,000 annually will be given to our local nonprofits and schools forever!

Who are the Affiliate Partners?

Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region affiliates are funds within the Community Foundation that are designed to serve our smaller, more rural geographic areas.

These five geographic areas include Brillion, Chilton, Clintonville, Shawano, and Waupaca. Their relationship with the Community Foundation allows them to focus on raising funds and determining the best way to grant dollars back to their communities.

Our affiliate partners are volunteers who advise on the operations of the affiliate and utilize the Community Foundation’s professional services and staff. Volunteers who oversee the affiliates have advisory roles, but final legal authority resides with the board of the Community Foundation. We are grateful for their partnership and dedication to improving their communities not only today, but for many generations to come.
